We´ve returned for a second time and the house and location are just as stunning as on the first visit. The rest of the world and its problems melt away as soon as we walk through the door and look out across the sea, regardless of the weather. The house is really well maintained and pristine; it´s a real delight to return and without doubt we will be back again. We ate at 2 Fore Street three times and the food was as good as last time, enhanced by really lovely service. All in all, a gem.

Again we had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Holanen. Waking up to the view of the sea and listening to the waves feeds the soul. Although we haven´t had the best weather, we have enjoyed lots of wonderful walks and the changeable days have added to the drama of the sea and views. We, as always, ate at 2 Fore Street, which we can recommend highly. The shop 1 Fore Street is very useful and has some great produce. We look forward to returning.

Our seventh stay here! Thank you so much for another wonderful visit to glorious Mousehole. Holanen was perfect as always - we love the new chairs! Excited to also visit Morse at some point, we enjoyed looking through the photo book of the works. Can´t wait to be back!

A beautiful and relaxing seven days in an enchanting home. The views are to die for. We have been very lazy and eaten out most days and can recommend The Mackerel Sky, Fore Street and The Old Coastguard for an enormous Sunday lunch. The Cormorant boat trip is worthwhile but be prepared for a poignant story from the captain.

Our third visit and as before a wonderful time celebrating our Silver Wedding Anniversary. Thank you to the owners for the "welcome back" bottle of rosé- it didn´t take us long to open it! Many thanks to the Housekeeper too for her part in maintaining this beautiful home.

When we entered your stunning house we were amazed at the fabulous view- the panoramic window brings the ocean into the living space- and we loved it every day. So lucky to see and gaze at the ever-changing scene. An extremely comfortable and delightful way to celebrate our birthdays.

Oh my goodness- my first reaction when we entered the house, how beautiful, the view is spectacular and the house is stunning, The sunrise on our first morning here took my breath away...heavenly, with sunlight streaming through into the house, just simply wonderful. Thank you to the owners for making this stay a home from home, you had thought of everything.

We have had the most wonderful time here. The place is beautiful and the view is breathtaking. We came here after a few months of more challenging times to relax and unwind and that is exactly what we did. We are already looking forward to returning but very sad to be leaving.

We loved spending our honeymoon here. The pictures don´t really do this place justice! It is fabulous; light, airy, modern and homely. The kitchen is so well-equipped which was a bit of a relief as the weather wasn´t ideal for eating out! Thank you for all the effort you have made to make this a perfect holiday home.

A truly fantastic home with breathtaking views. Our week was a carryover from last year due to the pandemic and it was well worth the wait. The direct views of the sea (and so close!) are just so relaxing to the point we rarely ventured out, instead opting to stay in and enjoy this incredible location.
