Wow, what an amazing chocolate box cottage, Gwendolyn is just stunning. Our holiday was simply perfect and we´ve made memories that will stay with us for a very long time. Thank you.
There are beautiful walks from the cottage to beaches through the glorious open countryside. The cottage has a comforting feel and I loved listening to the rain lay gently on the picturesque thatched roof. The cottage has far-reaching views over Perranporth to the sea, with amazing technicolour sunsets you never want to end. Sitting in the hot tub at sunset makes Gwendolyn a truly magical place with treats for everybody.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful Gwendolyn with us, we have had the most amazing time. We would love to come back and will definitely be recommending! Gwendolyn, you have everything and more.

Introduction
This traditional Cornish cottage is perfect for soulful micro-weddings where the guest list is capped at 20. You can choose to have a chic humanist ceremony in the cottage garden or opt for a religious service in Rose Methodist Church or St Michael Mission Church, both under two miles away. Return to Gwendolyn for golden hour wedding portraits, before an evening of custom celebrations serviced by our recommended suppliers – from a disco beneath the pergola’s string lights to a candlelit banquet with an ocean view.
Inside
Sleeping up to six guests, Gwendolyn offers a cosy space for close family and friends to gather for a three-day stay – or, you can bask in the wedding magic longer with a languid honeymoon escape. Inside its fairytale cottage exterior, you’ll find a bright space washed in calming coastal hues, with marshmallow sofas, beaded chandeliers, pointed arch doors and bedrooms dressed in soft linen. When the wedding night arrives, curl up in the candlelit snug, fill the clawfoot bath with bubbles and tumble into the four-poster.
Outside
Against the dramatic backdrop of the North Cornwall coast, guests can assemble on the lawn beside the glass-like pond, Martini in hand, or, should unpredictable weather intervene, settle under a hired marquee for a privately catered wedding breakfast. As the day melts into evening and the air hums with the music of a string quartet, the newlyweds can have their first dance as the sky turns from apricot to indigo. The following morning, a stroll to Perranporth Beach offers an idyllic setting for cinematic wedding photographs.
There are three bedrooms at this luxury elopement wedding venue; one with a super king-size bed (and en suite shower room), one with a king-size bed, and one zip-and-link which can be made up as a king-size bed or twin beds. The latter two rooms share use of the family bathroom, which contains a clawfoot bath, and separate ground floor shower room.

“With endless coastal views and unassuming charm, Gwendolyn exudes a timeless appeal. A beautiful venue for an intimate elopement wedding, it´s every bit as tranquil as it is chic.”
Gwendolyn is a cottage with a personality all of its own. It is such a characterful venue; from its thatched roof to its incredible position overlooking Perranporth Beach.
The setting is the perfect fusion of coast and country, and our aim was to create a place that celebrated the unique location. All the design choices were made with relaxation in mind, from the tonal hues and cosy blankets to the oil paintings and interesting books that line the shelves.
Perched high above the village overlooking the beach beyond, the setting of the cottage is magical. You can walk to the sea within thirty minutes, and there are a wealth of lovely pubs and restaurants to be enjoyed in the surrounding villages too.
Gwendolyn is a great option for couples seeking an intimate wedding; up to twenty guests can attend, and there's room for six people (and three dogs!) to stay in the cottage. We love to picnic on the lawn in summer, but the deck is the perfect place for an alfresco supper; the sunsets from here are nothing short of extraordinary.
