Thank you for a sublime, tranquil, relaxing and regenerative few days in Lynmore Valley! Coastal walks, cooking, sunrises and sunsets along the coast and a very chilled dog. My soul, brain, body and heart are so full and re-charged! We will definitely be back!

A lovely place to spend Christmas week. We have enjoyed long walks around the saltmarshes and along hurst Castle spit, and then returning to the comfort and cosiness of Pepper Shack. The hot tub on Christmas day was a delight! As others before us have said there are some great places to eat. We enjoyed meals at Rays, The Lighthouse and a superb Sunday lunch at The Gun. This is such a beautiful area of the country and Pepper Shack is a special place to stay.

We have loved our stay at the Pepper Shack. The property is wonderful and exceeded all expectations. Lots of lovely thoughtful touches from the owners made for a luxurious and comfortable stay. There were amazing recommendations in the house book. The owners were very welcoming and helpful, we appreciate being able to stay in their incredible property.

Can only describe Pepper Shack as "pure rustic super luxury". The renovation was meticulously thought through and we could see how much love and consideration went into designing the build. Craftsmanship with respect to the original structure and preserving a bit of history. Then there were the lux touches. Major water pressure for the shower, unlimited hot water, a hot tub, an outdoor bath tub, a sauna and a roof that allows the sound of rain to filter through into the rooms!

Would wholeheartedly recommend both to anyone, excellent service from start to finish, facilities are brilliant and I think if you are looking for a first class homestay in the UK then there is nowhere better than Unique Homestays. Equally, I´d suggest there aren´t many, if at all, better options for a couple and dog than the Pepper shack - a truly memorable stay.

Wow! What a wonderful week we have had at Pepper Shack. You´ve created a peaceful haven in the heart of the New Forest, it´s dreamy. The weather has been perfect all week and we´ve had a fab time going on lots of little adventures and making memories for our son´s first ever holiday. Hope to be back one day.

What a place! Pepper Shack is beautiful, as soon as we walked in we started pointing out all the bits that have been curated. It has inspired us to get home and start renovations. Despite some changeable weather, we´ve had a fantastic, relaxing time. The outdoor bath and sauna were highlights and we´ve got out to explore the beaches with our dog. Takeaway roast on Easter Sunday from The Ship Inn in Lymington was delicious, highly recommended. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We have had a fantastic stay in a lovely part of the country. The variety in the landscape from the coast through to the New Forest, in addition to the Isle of Wight, made our time here very special. It is not an area we knew much about. Being able to explore all day and return to the cosiness and comfort of Pepper Shack in the evening was perfect.

We´re so happy to be back. The design and attention to detail is wonderful, even the marshmallows and hot chocolate we discovered outside! We´ve had a wonderful Christmas despite the weather and I´m sure we will make our way back here again soon. A big thank you also for the dog treats which he found almost as soon as he got in the door!

What a birthday weekend! Wow, there are not many additional words to describe the bolt hole you have created for guests to relax within. Everything is luxurious, comfortable and completely tasteful. We were able to step out of ´life´ for 3 days, which has been invaluable. Thank you!

Thank you ever so much for a glorious place to stay and unwind. We´ve felt completely pampered over the last few days- how aromatic, quiet and utterly beautifully decorated. The sound of the grasses and trees just put me to sleep. Loved the outdoor bath too, a huge treat and a fabulous place.

This stay was booked for my husband´s 60th. One of the best birthday presents ever! Pepper Shack is beautiful and peaceful, just what we needed, thank you very much. We have done so many beach walks with our old dog ´Dodger´ we think he will sleep until we return.

We had a thoroughly glorious stay at Pepper Shack. The house book was very useful and contained a fantastic list of great local pubs. We relaxed the minute we walked through the gates- upon seeing the quirky outdoor bath and the way the outdoor lounge is simply an extension of the kitchen. I loved the fact that everywhere you look you find or see something new - from plants, candles, ´space masks´, and even a tin of treats for Milo our dog. A beautiful place to stay; we shall be back! We had left it late because of our own uncertainties! There were very few houses left that would take our dog. We needed a quiet time away together, and even our dog relaxed when he entered the grounds. Quiet, secluded, so clean. Worth every penny. We wandered off into another bubble for a few days and loved it. Even though it´s for two people, there is a perfect chance to have time alone because of the way it´s designed. We sat there in awe gazing at Pepper Shack´s beautiful design.

Pepper Shack is in a great location. So tranquil and secluded yet close to Milford on Sea and Keyhaven (a matter of minutes to drive to or a short walk) and easy to get to Lymington and the New Forest. We can’t recommend Pepper Shack highly enough. Thank you for a well-needed restful stay. We are already longing to be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside the Pepper Shack for our evening meals; the outdoor space is really something to behold with the wildflowers and abundance of butterflies. We were very lucky with the weather and at times could be forgiven for thinking we were abroad.

It was a relatively last-minute decision to head south for a week or so but we didn’t have a clue where to go. After looking at the Unique Homestay website, we were instantly drawn to Pepper Shack. It was a combination of the quirkiness of the building itself and the sumptuous internal furnishings that drew us in. We booked it immediately with the incredibly helpful folk at Unique Homestays and of course the delightful owner.

The hamper of goodies was super delicious and we had a great Sunday roast at The Mayflower, such a top recommendation. We have very much enjoyed our stay at the Pepper Shack. This is our second visit to Keyhaven having stayed at The Sanctuary across the road in 2021. Pepper Shack is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. We enjoyed the hamper of goodies. Also a great location for walks, with many good eating places nearby too. We would come back for a third-time visit!
