The most perfect wedding week. We got to enjoy the build-up of decorating, eating, drinking, and laughing. The day itself could not have been more perfect with the most relaxing environment and creating a fun and laughter-filled day. We were then privileged to enjoy the wind down with many moments spent reminiscing and recalling our special memories of the day.
We had our sights set on an intimate wedding ceremony. So, when we discovered The Stack during our venue search, we knew it fit the brief: it was small, intimate, and unique, the kind of place you fall in love with at first sight. We were able to plan our entire day from afar, and the events planner at Unique Homestays was always on hand with expert advice ensuring a seamless approach to what became one of the most memorable days of our lives.
I just wanted to thank you for all of your help and support in the run-up to our wedding at the beautiful Stack on the 30th of September 2023. We had an incredible time and will treasure the memories forever!
Our wedding went down an absolute treat. Everyone was praising the venue from the start and throughout, including guests and suppliers. It really is a perfect setting for a smaller, intimate wedding. A special day that we will never forget!
We came here to renew our vows after 25 years of marriage and a couple of broken wedding rings. We had no idea there were two separate wedding areas which worked out just perfectly and were a great surprise. We have fallen in love with this beautiful home and gardens, and really don’t want to leave – it is perfect! Thank you for everything! We truly love it here.

Introduction
Weddings at The Stack beckon those dreaming of a bohemian celebration just as much as they entice romantics seeking an atmospheric setting steeped in history. Tucked away at the end of a sweeping pathway and embraced by a cluster of trees, this Grade II-listed, tower-like venue stands serenely within its own rural idyll. Whether planning a civil or humanist ceremony onsite or a religious service in one of the nearby churches first before returning to The Stack for the reception, this is a soul-stirring and unforgettable backdrop.
Inside
Step inside The Stack’s classic Cornish exterior to discover luxuriously rustic interiors. Comfortably sleeping up to six guests, it offers a cosy retreat where close family and friends can gather, ready to help bring the wedding day vision to life. Spread across three floors, the bedrooms are sumptuous spaces to unwind before and after the celebrations, as is the family bathroom with its deep rolltop bath. When the festivities are in full swing outside, you can slip away indoors for a peaceful moment by the fireplace, reflecting on the magic of the day.
Outside
Melding with the pastoral landscape, The Stack’s wraparound gardens and lush trees create a romantic setting, in which a woodland grotto invites vows among climbing vines and wildflowers. After the ceremony, recommended caterers can serve a farm-to-table feast on the deck with dramatic views, or fresh pizzas can be whipped up in the outdoor kitchen and oven. In cooler months, a marquee can be hired at an extra cost, creating a magical space to toast under starry skies. When the festivities end, retire to the sunken hot tub.
One first floor double bedroom, one second floor king-size room, one third floor zip-and-link bedroom (which can be set up as a super king-size or a twin), one first floor family bathroom with his-and-hers sinks and separate shower, one second floor WC, one outside shower.

“Intimate, dramatic and surrounded in history, The Stack House is a unique wedding venue in Cornwall for brides seeking a truly magical Cornish wedding set within established gardens and band of shady trees.”
Lying within the secluded hamlet of Trelion, overlooking the upper reaches of the magnificent Fal Valley, the setting of The Stack is magical... the undulating countryside is nothing short of a Tolkien landscape. We relish waking up each day to birdsong, spending a relaxing end of day in the hot tub and stargazing from the attic bedroom.
As a family, we've found that for each of us the Stack holds a different appeal; from getting back-to-nature, to toasting the end of another day with friends, or blasting music through every floor of the property.
The previous owners were musicians and from song-writing to novel creation, we feel that the very special ambience that The Stack possesses is conducive to getting those creative juices flowing! We hope you find this a wedding venue to suit all seasons, from enjoying the cosy basement cinema room to flinging open the back door and reclining on the deck.
