Tempest

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your delightful home. It exceeded our expectations, being very cosy, well equipped, thought put into every detail, and views to die for. We have enjoyed walks from the house, visiting Saltram House and Antony House and Gardens and just simply relaxing in the garden.

Stunning! Seriously, this is the best place in which we´ve ever stayed. Just perfect - everything about it. Had the most amazing and relaxing break. Thank you!

The hot tub at night with the lights and jets off, with the stars and waves crashing, is a blissful moment of calm. Thanks to the owner; you’ve created and run a masterpiece of a home!

We came, we saw, we stopped. And what a superb break it was: sunsets and sunshine; hot tub and beach; Eden project, and that 1000 piece jigsaw (which we completed!)! It was a peaceful, perfect break in a wonderfully appointed home from home. Anywhere that you can arrive at to find all you need to knock out a Sunday roast, just like at home, but with a view to die for is "A1" in our book. A wee tip; great fish and chips at the Coddy Shack - amazing service too.

A truly fantastic and inspiring week here, just what we needed. Tempest is simply perfect, catering for a beautiful and relaxing home from home. We were very lucky with the weather and managed many walks directly from here, in particular along to Rame Head and Cawsand, just beautiful. From waking to the moon bouncing off the sea to golden sunsets from the hot tub along with jumping a few waves! The fire in the evening completed our beautiful days. Just perfect.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your gorgeous house. We had the most wonderful time to relax and enjoy. It´s a long way from Germany, but worth every moment. The view!!

A much needed and much enjoyed escape to this wild bit of coast. We have seen all weathers but got our dip in the sea on one of the calmer days - a balmy 10C! We´ve loved the view, the fire, the flowers and most of all the sounds of the sea and wind. We are truly restored.

We got engaged here! This place will always be in our memories and in our hearts. The perfect weekend and we couldn´t have asked for a more perfect place. The weather was amazing, sunshine all day and those views to enjoy. Thank you for making this weekend as memorable as possible.

The views on arriving at Tempest here are breathtaking, making it a truly enchanting home. Being here has given us a much needed chance to relax and appreciate the peace and beauty of the property and its surroundings. Such a beautiful home! We have had the most perfect stay and relaxation levels have reached a new high. This is our first trip to Cornwall and we have fallen in love with the area and your home. We have been surfing, hiking and enjoying the beautiful weather, including evening and sunset dinners on the deck, which have been magical. The level of detail hasn´t gone unnoticed, and thank you for making us feel so welcome.

The perfect holiday home, we have particularly, enjoyed watching the surfers and the birds swooping and diving into the sea. Walking down to the beach and enjoying the beautiful views. One evening we spotted a cruise ship, MS Rotterdam making its way across the bay and out to sea. We discovered it had departed from Plymouth and was on its way to New York. The binoculars come in very handy to get a close-up view. The hot tub was used every evening, it was a luxury that enhanced our stay. Thank you, it has been a great relaxing holiday.

What a magical place! We have been in a lot of great places but yours is a very special one. Not only is the view absolutely stunning but the house itself is a real jewel and we have enjoyed every moment of it! We will return home with a lot of wonderful memories and maybe one day we will return to this unique place of yours!

As two couples who are lifelong friends and travelling companions, this holiday came at the perfect time after isolation over the last couple of years. This beautiful home provided us with everything we needed and more; the view simply took our breath away every time. The house is comfortable, warm and inviting and a special thank you for the fresh flowers everywhere. To top it all off we had glorious weather all week, which meant wonderful walks on the beach together. We just can´t wait to return!

We rarely return to places, but Tempest called us back and boy, we were delighted to be here for every reason. A wonderful week in the most superb surroundings. Thank you for the special little touches and simply all the magic in your home. Another dose of the best medicine by the sea. Heaven!

What an amazing few days we´ve had. We couldn´t have found a more perfect spot for our first holiday as a family. The dog and baby both had a wonderful time! The house is cosy and that view! Thank you for your hospitality, a truly wonderful stay. We even saw a pod of dolphins!

What a magical place to stay! Thank you for making our first holiday as a family of three as relaxing as it can be. The house is the perfect little escape for us and we have fallen in love with the view. After a challenging two years of lockdown, pregnancy and maternity leave, this little break was just what we needed. Especially watching shooting stars from the hot tub. We´re going home with wonderful memories, thank you!

We love Tempest! What a location for our honeymoon, which was a year late no thanks to COVID, but was the best medicine after a tough couple of years. We truly felt at home and absolutely do not want to leave, but guess it´s only fair to share this amazing place with someone else. Our dogs have also had the best time, often caught staring out to sea and enjoying the decking space in the sunshine. Whitsand Bay is a paradise and we hope to return very soon. Thank you for making the first few days of married life unforgettable!

Thanks for a wonderful weekend! It was absolutely idyllic. We couldn´t have asked for a better (would-have-been) honeymoon that was delayed by COVID restrictions. We loved all the thoughtful touches, and the hamper full of goodies was just what we needed. We could have looked out at this view forever and we feel lucky to have enjoyed it playing board games and enjoying a glass (or two) in the hot tub. We hope to visit again very soon!
