We´ve had a very Merry Christmas at Skyline! Loved the house with its cosy vibes. It has everything you need to make for a special holiday. We will be returning at some point in the future...

The views were spectacular with the lovely weather and clear skies with sunrise and sunset from the windows. All in all the house was very clean and comfortable, and really felt like a home away from home, everyone felt fully relaxed and there was a lovely feel and warmth to the property. Everyone couldn´t believe how brilliant Christmas was and it really allowed us to make memories to last a life time - our first family Christmas in a luxurious and yet homely setting.

So lucky with the weather! Only 1 day of rain (though it was relentless) just meant we could make the most of the games in the house. We used the pub/dog walk back and enjoyed a beautiful walk to Scout Scar. Our dog also enjoyed a walk in the Langdale Valley. Had a great family time. We love this house, the phenomenal views, and the opportunity to play tennis daily (if so inclined). This is our third visit and we hope to be back!

We booked the house for a family gathering to celebrate our Dad´s 70th birthday. After a dreadful weather forecast, the sun came out on Easter Sunday and we had a wonderful day playing a family tennis tournament and cooking a meal which we ate on the terrace. The house has a lovely feel to it and has been the sociable space we wanted for a memorable family gathering.

We love staying at Skyline. This is our second time here and it´s an amazing house for us to come away as a family. It feels like a home from home. Location is perfect and we love that there is a café just a short walk away. Bedrooms are spacious and it has everything we need. We love it here thank you!

We were all very happy with the property. We had adults in their twenties, fifties and seventies and all were blown away by the property. The short walk down to the village was also a great draw. It was also perfectly situated for us and when we saw the pictures and the views we would enjoy it was the ideal place for a family get-together.

Everything about Skyline was fabulous. Just loved looking out the expansive windows and soaking in the views. It was very comfortable and perfect for our Christmas gathering.

Skyline has given us the most enchanting and beautiful spot to enjoy a special family reunion holiday. We all love the design of the house with its neutral schemes and beautiful light. We have been fortunate enough to have wall-to-wall sunshine! Boat rides, pony trekking, barbecues, paddling in the river, daily walks and fun games of tennis; it´s all been enjoyed immensely. We will never forget the 180-degree beautiful views and enormous terrace. Thank you, we will be back.

Having just returned home after spending the weekend in Skyline, I wanted to thank you for making our stay very special. The hamper was a great surprise with its many treasures and delicacies. Skyline is indeed a luxurious property which retains a homely feel. The views are truly magnificent and all the information provided is ao helpful. It was a perfect location for our family get-together; the grandeur of the property and the idyllic surrounding made it the perfect venue for our special occasion.

Skyline is in such a great location; so close to amenities yet you feel miles away from everywhere. It´s extremely peaceful here, we loved the deer that were on the property of a morning. The house is very clean and great local information and recommendations provided to ensure you make the most of your stay. Thank you for sharing the house with us.

Such a beautiful house! We had a fantastic time celebrating with family. We didn´t mind the wet weather, it meant we didn´t feel guilty staying in with the lovely fire burning and relaxing on the super comfy sofas!

This place is everything we could have imagined and more; the perfect place for a family get-together. It truly is a stunning house in a picturesque setting, we didn´t want to leave!

Skyline is a beautiful home with stunning views; the house is well equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. A lovely hamper waited for us on arrival. We enjoyed the piano, using the tennis court and sampling excellent local restaurants. We took scenic walks into Staveley and Skyline is a great base to explore the local area. All in all, we had a fantastic time!

Great times, great house, great memories, great weather and great scenery! We especially enjoyed the garden and tennis courts. Staveley is a delight and we made use of all the local activities during our stay.

Firstly, the beautiful hamper was a real surprise. This is by far the best property we have ever stayed in and the views from every window are mesmerising. We felt very spoilt having a tennis court, plus the house is immaculate and very well equipped. We´ve had an amazing time and cannot thank you enough for allowing us the opportunity to experience this beautiful house!

The six of us have had the most amazing holiday at Skyline. The house is so beautiful and the views are to die for. Some great walks which always ended in the pub. Barbecues with friends as the sun went down out on the patio were just idyllic. Thank you for helping create some amazing memories!
