What a wonderful week we have had at Nightjar. Our family reunion was everything we hoped for and more. The weather treated us to an unforgettable heatwave with made daily swims both a necessity and a cherished ritual. Thank you for providing the perfect setting for making memories we´ll talk about for years to come. The laughter, the food, the swims, the football heartbreak and most importantly, the time together have made this a truly special stay.

We just had the most amazing week!!! It is obvious to say this house is very special, beautiful furniture and best of all so comfortable. We have come to The Cotswolds many times now as we like to enjoy the English countryside and Nightjar is by far the most beautiful house we have ever stayed. Thank you to the housekeepers for making us feel so welcome. We will miss the morning views of the donkeys and alpaca. What a treat.

Thank you for introducing us to the wonderful donkeys and alpacas. A definite core memory for our children (along with the hot tub!). The week has flown by so quickly but we’ve made so many great memories. We leave the Cotswolds well rested and full of joy. We hope to be able to visit again in the not so distant future!

Wow, wow and wow! Nightjar is a very special place and we feel incredibly lucky to have been able to spend a wonderful week here. All three generations have thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we wonder how we’re going to be able to go back to our normal lives! We’ve enjoyed eating on the terrace together, swimming twice daily, watching films in the cinema room, spending evenings looking at the stars and, of course, watching the donkeys and alpacas going about their daily lives on the beautiful grounds.

We had a very special week at Nightjar with our family and made so many special memories. It is such a wonderful home. Our grandchildren loved the swimming pool and the cinema room and the adults thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room and the games room! The kitchen was amazing to cook in - we loved the walk-in fridge!! The weather was perfect - it was wonderful to be able to eat on the terrace every night. The housekeepers looked after us so well - nothing was too much trouble. We hope to return to Nightjar again.

We have had the most wonderful week! We have stayed in many Unique Homestay homes but have never been treated to the exquisite culinary delights that we arrived to here. The facilities are first class and we enjoyed all of them — even having our own mini discos, despite there only being four of us! We were blessed with the finest of British weather, but even so, the rest of our enjoyment was truly from this exceptional, beautiful home, and we feel so grateful to have had the chance to relax and have fun in this truly unique and special place.

Thank you for opening your home for our family gathering. We travelled from the US, Wales, and Scotland to spend time together and we picked an amazing home to make wonderful memories. We cooked, ate, and laughed together. In the evening we would watch movies to end the day and the highlight was the setting — the animals, grounds, and sounds of the cows in the distance — and how they reminded us to slow down and enjoy life.

Nightjar is a true gem in The Cotswolds and the perfect place to find peace and relaxation with family and friends. We love everything about Nightjar and none of us want to leave! Particular highlights for us have been watching the beautiful animals, taking advantage of the pool to cool off and watching the football in the cinema room! We hope to come back one day!
