It was our 10th wedding anniversary and we wanted to stay somewhere special and treat ourselves. We loved the location, remote and private but also near enough to lots of interesting things, nature and great walking. Thank you so much for a magical experience. The Cable Hut is a wonderful retreat in a beautiful place. We loved hiking the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, sitting in the sun room watching the spectacular sunsets and the swooping swifts, and soaking in the hot tub under the astonishing night sky. The kitchen had everything we needed to self-cater and our whole experience was fabulous.
We loved our stay at The Cable Hut. The location is amazing and the owners have put so much thought into the details in the property, which we really appreciated. We would recommend the cottage to others.
A unique property indeed! We loved every detail and felt all the love that is poured into this place. The garden, all the plants, the hot tub, the welcome hamper, the contents of the fridge, the hut itself with its quirky decoration, but most of all the summerhouse! Fantastic views and maximum privacy. Thank you so much for creating such a heavenly place and taking good care of everything.
It was one of the best properties and locations we have had so far a big thank you! Also congratulations on your concept and the selections and designs of your properties.
The location was beautiful and we loved the quirky property. Particularly liked the secluded garden and garden room, which were both lovely for us to sit in and also perfect for our dogs, who could be allowed to wander a little without escaping!
Thank you for making this special place available during such a strange period. It was a perfect break for a birthday weekend and couldn´t have been better. The days were clear and sunny and last night we saw shooting stars. We´re already working out when we can come back to The Cable Hut again!
We had the most wonderful stay and will most definitely be returning! We are just trying to work out how many times we can go back each year! We really did have the best time. We were blessed with incredible weather, and you really do have to visit to appreciate the property’s situation and the beautiful coastline and beaches that are so close. We have been so impressed with everything! Thank you very much.
Lovely, cosy property in a fantastic location. The property was furnished very well, and using local products, such as blankets and blinds made with wool from the local mill was a great touch.
We chose to stay at The Cable Hut as it seemed to be the best dog-friendly choice. I´d say having now been, the ´degree of privacy´ is exceptional. If anything, the description and images don´t quite show how remote and beautiful the location is!
After a very long drive and a lot of traffic, it was such a delight to arrive at The Cable Hut and to find the welcome pack with such lovely treats in. We just had time for a quick walk to the beaches before we made the most of one of the comfiest beds we have ever slept in. We would recommend a meal at The Sloop Inn and the Farmers Arms, walks along the beautiful coastline and countryside. We had a fabulous holiday and are already making plans to return!
Thank you for a truly magical stay! We loved everything about The Cable Hut, especially the fabulous views and beautiful coastal walks close by. The swing seat is in the perfect spot for enjoying the amazing views. There’s no doubt we will visit again!

The Cable Hut
Aberbach, Pembrokeshire, Wales, UK
Back in the days where love letters and drift bottles were amongst the only few means of communication, this humble hut in Pembrokeshire was built to house the first telephone lines laid across the Atlantic Ocean. Over 100 years later, the abandoned Welsh dwelling captured the imagination of a young passing couple and The Cable Hut started its latest chapter as a luxury self-catering cottage retreat. The sheltered courtyard is the perfect suntrap for sunbathing and the garden enjoys wild, whimsical Welsh scenes all around.
