Down a long driveway with no neighbours in sight other than sheep. One arrives at the front door of this Welsh farmhouse with a view from the front of the house looking out at open fields, and the neighbourly sheep stare back at you with only a hint of curiosity as they carry on chewing on grass. This is a dreamy, almost romantic little spot. Everything we needed during our stay was provided, and more. The devil is in the detail from the herbs and spices stocked in the kitchen to the hot water dog wash in the barn with a supply of clean dog towels. A huge thank you to the owner of Eirianfa, for making us feel so welcome in this most lovely of homes.

We´ve had a great time week in this beautiful house and location and the weather has been fantastic - we couldn´t have asked for better. Great views, the wildlife, the birdsong, the hot tub, the games - the list goes on. Not forgetting the delicious cake! Thank you both very much!

We have had a wonderful relaxing week in your beautiful cottage, what a lovely place to stay. We would recommend the walk to Moel Famau, 4.5 hour round trip and well worth the climb.

My favourite UHS property so far and there have been many! Beautiful inside and out with so many special touches, everything and more than you can hope for when choosing a place to relax. I leave full up on fresh air, sunrises from Eirianfa´s garden and an amazing turkey roast dinner at The Sugar Plum tea room!

The house was perfect for our family of four. It has a really peaceful atmosphere and lovely views. We enjoyed the ammenities, the kitchen was really well stocked and perfect for all the baking and cooking we wanted to do this week. We also enjoyed the hot tub and games area. Wow! What an amazing place to escape to, so much to offer whether that´s sitting by the lake, watching wildlife and nature or even taking the boat on the lake. Loved the views from the hot tub and we passed many evenings playing pool in the barn.
