Its owner – an art collector and devotee of the art of gathering – envisaged a home where conviviality is pride of place; long-table lunches drift from the kitchen to the pergola, afternoons unfold poolside, woodland paths lead to a secluded sauna and cold plunge and evenings conclude in the private cinema.
