Creekside Escape
Mawnan Smith, Helford, Cornwall, UK
Coming soon...
Perched above the wooded banks of Port Navas Creek, within Cornwall's National Landscape, lies a waterside sanctuary for up to ten. Taking its cues from Japanese architecture, its pavilion-like roof forms create a distinctive silhouette amid the treetops, whilst reverse-level living and floor-to-ceiling glass draws the outside in. Practise yoga overlooking the river, or retreat to the rooftop hot tub as the tide ebbs below. From the private pontoon, cast off to explore the Helford's sheltered tidal inlets, secluded coves and ancient oak woodlands by boat or paddleboard the storied landscape that inspired Daphne du Maurier's Frenchman's Creek.
Creekside escape is due to open its doors from early December.
