Set on the Applecross coast, at the meeting point of sea, mountain and sky, this contemporary Highland retreat occupies a position of rare natural drama. Built by a local family with a deep understanding of the landscape, the sandstone-and-timber house sits organically within its heather-laced surroundings. Nordic-inspired interiors combine airy open-plan living spaces with cosy corners to read or gaze at the view, complemented by a collection of wildlife-inspired artworks. From the front door, you can walk directly into some of the Highlands' most spectacular scenery: wander to the crystalline waters of Coral Beach, or settle in and watch seals bob in the bay below.
