An intimate Cheshire wedding doused in vintage style

The stunning rustic barn at Scarlett Hall in Cheshire is a versatile venue, whether hosting a large wedding or a smaller, more intimate wedding. The central fireplace offers a perfect backdrop for the ceremony.

A small wedding for 20 guests is the perfect time to ditch the rule book and seat guests in an informal circle. The round seating placement adds a feeling of intimacy and inclusion, and the couple can enter via opposite sides and meet in the middle.

The colour palette is inspired by fresh spring shades; ranging from peachy neutrals to vibrant coral, zingy mustards to hints of bright blue. A meadow floral arch which flows upward over the fireplace styles the vintage bench and is a romantic setting for photos. Adding vintage pieces to your wedding is the perfect way to add character and quirk; source a Victorian drinks trolley and style with vintage champagne glasses; maybe serve your guests craft cocktails?

The vintage Indian metal folding chairs add rusticity and a pop of spring blues and greens. Tall meadow boxes filled with grasses and bold eremurus line the centre of the circle. Simple and effective, they are easily moved and can be re-styled within the wedding reception.

And who can resist adding a disco ball or two...?
