Our unique home owners are an enthralling collection of inspirational individuals who harbour the most fascinating stories and backgrounds. From a magnate who birthed a multi-million pound luxury fashion brand, to the ingenious inventor who coined the idea for the simple sauce sachet, a talented artist specialising in ceramics and a now-retired couple who forged their glittering careers in the film and television world; the people who own our unique homes are as beguiling as the homes themselves.

Each beautiful private home which comprises the exclusive Unique Homestays portfolio retains those personal touches which reflect the individuality and personality of the property owners. With carefully hand-picked artwork displayed on the walls and well-thumbed books in the study, it is these homely touches which set a unique homestay apart from the norm.

Each luxury home stay retains the unique features, stylish interior design and flawless décor befitting of a unique luxury family home. Guests can revel in the experience of intimate and luxurious hospitality and be treated like special guests in extraordinary homes owned by fascinating owners.  Many of our creative owners are designers or architects themselves;  one of our owners creates custom-designed furniture and lighting made from iconic period pieces that already have history and their own story to tell, whilst another is a world-renowned photographer specialising in interiors and design.

And of course it’s not just the owners that have stories to tell… many of our unique homes boast fascinating histories which have contributed to their unique nature and ensure they exude a large dose of heart and soul. One cabin in the woods boasts tin wall tiles reclaimed from the Empire State Building, whilst one of our luxury manor houses sits beside explorer Sir Walter Raleigh’s old hunting lodge. We are proud to exclusively market all of our unique homes, but we especially love sharing stories of those with fascinating pasts such as the cable hut used to house the first telephone cables which were laid across the Atlantic, to the unique home set on one of the last remaining hop farms in the UK and a manor house which was once home to an Edwardian music hall starlet. These remarkable features and more are what make us proud to be custodians of such unique and special places to stay, and hope that you enjoy them as much as we do. It's not every day you get to live in the homes of such inspirational people afterall!
