Exploring the intersection between modern elegance, timeless beauty and romantic charm, the aesthetics of the editorial were centred on understated sophistication – contemporary details working in tandem with the old charm of Scarlet Hall’s 17th-century barn. Flowing fabrics and delicate floral arrangements created an ethereal, dream-like atmosphere.
For the colour palette, pastel hues – with shades of mint, moss, lavender and blush – alongside accents of wine, created a look not just romantic and elegant, but timeless too: these are colours that work well for a wedding no matter the season.
Working with Dale Alexander Events – who styled the shoot – the rustic barn’s weathered ceilings were draped with white, sheer fabrics across the entirety of the space. Come evening, the candles cast a soft light, resulting in a heightened intimacy.

Outside, the wild meadows became a focal point, where the florals weaved nature further into the barn’s interior, while statement urns placed at the back of the barn led the eye to the intricately-designed tablescapes.
The floral designs by SASSFLOWER complemented the nature-inspired décor, with wild displays arranged on a serpentine layout curling its way down the barn – a harmonious connection to Scarlet Hall’s own meadow.
