After many months of cancelled celebrations and events, regulations for weddings taking place in England are beginning to ease. As it now stands, up to 30 people are able to attend nuptials and receptions within a Covid-19 secure venue. If you're thinking of changing your plans from a large wedding to a more intimate affair consider hosting in a luxury private home. After all, bigger isn't always better (unless you're referring to the grazing platter of course...).

Lovers can take their pick from our Ceremonies Collection comprising of elopement and intimate celebration venues. Our rough-luxe former engine house in the heart of Cornwall will steal the hearts of barefoot brides seeking a Bohemian-style wedding while our New Hampton-inspired barn near Rye offers couples a blank canvas to style as they wish. Or, if you managed to tie the knot during lockdown and are looking for a breath-taking backdrop to host your newlywed photo shoot (perhaps tied in with a belated honeymoon), discover our full collection of destinations on offer.

2020 is all about paring it back and remembering what matters. When it comes to décor inspiration, our latest elopement shoot at Gwendolyn hits all the right notes. Peachy neutrals and forest greens were used in the bouquet, headpiece and floral table centrepiece, supplied by Hayley Scott Blooms and for a touch of free-spirited Bohemian flair, dreamcatchers by With A Gypsy Soul flitted in the trees.

Photography by Evie Johnstone, captured in Cornish retreat Gwendolyn and Perranporth's sand dunes.
