Thalia
St Tudy, Wadebridge, Cornwall, UK
In the River Camel valley, on the site of a 17th-Century smallholding, a structure rises that defies easy categorisation. Part eco-warrior, part luxurious retreat, this LABC award winner near the north Cornwall coast was designed to be at one with the environment. It's a family sanctuary where Passivhaus principles meet bespoke craftsmanship in a harmonious blend of natural timber, locally sourced slate, and weathered copper.
