Our wedding in July 2024 at Winterfell was truly a dream come true. As a French-English couple, we sought a venue that could blend our cultures and reflect the deep connection we share with the Lake District. This stunning region is not only significant to me because of my roots, but it's also where I proposed to my husband during a previous visit. From the moment we first explored the area together, we knew it was the perfect place to exchange our vows.
We wanted something more personal and intimate than a traditional wedding venue, and Winterfell was everything we had envisioned. With its cosy, homely atmosphere and beautiful gardens, it provided the ideal backdrop for our 70-guest celebration. The ceremony and reception flowed seamlessly in this picturesque setting, surrounded by our closest family and friends.
The week following the wedding was just as special, as we continued the celebration in such a warm and welcoming space. The memories we created at Winterfell will stay with us forever. We couldn't have imagined a more beautiful or meaningful place to start our married life together.
